Each year the Porsche Club of America - Chicago Region
- sponsors a Porsche Club Concours on Father's Day in
Long Grove Historic Village. Thirty to fifty shining Porsches,
from vintage to new models, are displayed between 11 am
and 2:30 pm.
The autos will get the white glove treatment by a team
of judges who assess the meticulously maintained vehicles
for preparation and condition. Chicago-area owners and
competitors have won a number of national awards for
their vehicles, and the Porsches on display in Long
Grove are detailed to perfection.
Visitors and viewers are welcome to come see the cars
and appreciate the hard work it takes to keep them in
top condition. It's the perfect opportunity to treat
Dad to a Father's Day he'll truly appreciate.
More than 50 Long Grove shops, galleries and restaurants,
and a Farmers Market will be open on Father's Day as well,
so the whole family will find plenty to enjoy.
