ABOUT THIS EVENT
The Annual
5K Fun Run and 3K Walk sponsored by The Rotary Club of Long Grove,
is along some of the prettiest country roads in Illinois. The
goal is to raise funds for the club's charitable fund and local
charities that do not have resources to organize a fundraiser,
while providing a fun event for families and the community. A
pancake breakfast follows the event. Fee per runner; free parking;
accessible event.
Course: Course: 5K race and 3K walk
starts in the historic Business District, then winds over Long
Grove country roads. Water & aid stations. Split times at 1 &
2 mile marks.

Pancake Breakfast:
8:30 am - 11:00 am Free to all registered
participants. Guests pay onsite.
Trophies and Awards: Five deep in all
age/gender categories and to the overall male and female runners
(based on CARA guidelines). Race results will be posted online
at www.cararuns.com. Walkers will each receive a participation
ribbon.
Limitations: Bicycles, in-line skates,
roller skates, other wheeled vehicles (except wheelchairs) and
dogs are not allowed on the race course. Runners with baby strollers
are not allowed in the race, but may participate in the 3K Walk.
