Come
Celebrate Long Grove’s International Diversity. Stroll
the streets of Long Grove Labor Day weekend and explore
the rich culture of our shops. Dine on international foods,
enjoy ethnic dance and folk music all weekend long. Bring
the whole family for a real Hometown Event - just like
you remember.
Celebrate
many cultures, including Irish, Scandinavian, German,
French, Native American, Italian and more with ethnic
foods, music, dance, and activities.
Event Activities 10-5 Daily - Regular Business Hours
An outgrowth of Long Grove's very popular Irish Days,
Long Grove's international-themed shops will showcase
their cultural heritage with this exciting multinational
event. Enjoy a whirlwind of ethnic dance and music, from
exotic belly dancers to exuberant Irish step dancing and
Scottish fling to German oompah bands and tunes of Polish
and Scandinavian ancestry.
Taste your way through town with foods and flavors from
many nations. Children will enjoy the various cultural opportunities,
as well as traditional kiddie rides, movie, and ice cream
eating contests.
Enjoy music and dancing at pavilions throughout town, as
you check out merchandise from around the world in Long
Grove's many shops. Admission and parking are free.
Long Grove is also known for its outdoor festivals featuring
great food, family fun and plenty of live entertainment.
